Housefly

Houseflies (scientific name Musca Domestica) are a common pest that can be found almost anywhere. Houseflies are easily recognized by their dull grey/black thorax which has 4 stripes, one pair of wings and bulging red eyes. Houseflies thrive in environments that contain wet, decaying, fermenting food, garbage, animal waste products etc. Female houseflies lay one egg at a time; each egg contains a cluster of approximately 70-150 eggs. To prevent houseflies from infesting your home; install self-closing doors and screens, avoid having overflowing garbage cans, keep home sanitized and free of any decaying matter.
